Our History
OPH began in 2015 as a Facebook group to unify the community by providing underserved parents and residents information about available programs and resources. Since then, OPH has grown to have 20 volunteers and deliver educational programs in OSHA, ESL, HHA, and US Citizenship at its Family Resource Center located in Ossining.
Our Mission
OPH’s mission is to provide members of the community with vital opportunities that can help people live successful and happier lives. Our efforts are focused on providing disadvantaged families, access to essential resources such as food, clothing, and educational classes.
OPH has organized and led several community projects including Ossining’s Annual Hispanic Festival, Ossining High School Student Courtyard Beautification Project, OSHA HHA, ESL classes, an anti-littering campaign, and numerous fundraisers for those in need of medical treatment.
Currently, we have a local food and clothing pantry, a classroom environment for providing educational resources, and a program to support immigrants who seek a pathway towards citizenship.
With your donation, we can continue feeding and clothing families in need and aid in the expansion of our educational services.
